Folkore isn't history and we covered everything from pre-history, then Romans, Saxons, Vikings etc in primary school..... and as I'm Scottish, we covered a lot of ground in Scottish history - but only factual, not folklore. Then we tended to concentrate more on political history, the euro-revolutions and 20th century history in high school.
