It's like every other clone town in the U.K.
Same hardware shops same shoe shops chemists car dealers supermarkets pie shops electronics shops schools churches pubs clubs cinemas etc blah.

Of course it's real!
In Robins day it would have been hundreds of miles long and wide.
One forest joined another forest in those days as the country was not far off one great big forest.
Once you went on the run in such a place it would be near impossible to find you and your merry men.
Today Robin would be seen as a terrorist.

I loved that part of history at school...i remember the origional series on the telly-box.Was it someone called Richard Greene that was in it.
That's the one ... I loved it and tried to never miss an episode.
