It's a superb, insightful article and an excellent judgement. I also hope these are pieces which all those smug idiots - the ones who condemn and criticise abused and violated women for "enabling" the violence they have endured - will read and digest thoroughly.

A decent article and Rah for feminism etc, but she is using the case as much as the people screaming about benefit culture are.

I don't believe for one minute that Philpott would have been so determined to get custody of his entire brood if they did not come with benefits, so yes, he was indeed using them to milk the system.

Everyone is a product of their environment in one way or the other, often their *profession will enable or influence their crimes, even enable them. I believe the benefit system enabled this misogynist control freak to enjoy the lifestyle he chose.

It does not mean everyone in receipt of benefits is a potential child killer, but it should be noted, and people such as Phiilpott flagged, not when they have fathered 17 children, but much much earlier.

Its quite a long read, dosent mention anything about milking the Benefit System.

I dont think anyone said it did, but the case and her summary is being piggy backed by lobbyists of various causes. The Feminist, he is just a bullying control freak Lefties who believe he would have been a control freak mysogynist on benefits or off. The minister who spouted off about the whole horrific event being caused by Benefit culture.
