He had a go talk20 but it was just so limiting, this cost £17 not cheap in terms of an app but totally customisable forever, no more need to buy extra dictionary disks. He has it on his own I pod touch and I have it on the I pad and it's brilliant, I would reccommend it to anyone with communication difficulties.

I'm not sure if I'm missing the point here - quite possibly I am - but I'm puzzled as to why you want recommendations for apps.

To me, if there was something specific I wanted to do, I might want to find an app to help me with it but you seem to be asking for recommendations for apps, regardless of what they're for, which seems kind of back-to-front to me. scratch

I only ever download apps for things like games anyway and only rarely then. I couldn't be bothered downloading apps for the sake of it and then decide if I had any use for them.

There's probably an app for deciding if you should download any apps! whistle

I must be too old to appreciate this kind of stuff. roflmao

Not an app person myself but my partner uses them. I prefer not downloading crap, and seldom use the ones pre-installed.

Have you never bought an app magazine? I bought a few, they give suggestions for say the best music apps, or the top 10 for the month... I get on the App Store and think omg I have no idea what I want to get or even what's decent within what I do look for Dunno

If someone has used an app they think that's a great one then to know its a good one is helpful... Especially with a lot of debatable apps lol
