Summer skin

How do you get your skin ready to be 'on show' in the summer months?
Body brushing? What moisturiser do you prefer?

I am notoriously lazy when it comes to my own skin, if I moisturise my face it gets too oily so I only do it when it's essential. 
for my body I use dove moisturiser, but again rarely... I must start looking after it...
Btw jack who said it was anything to do with ageing, gracefully or otherwise, I don't HAVE that problem yet
