Fish life jacket

I saw this in the paper and thought it was brilliant. the things people come up with lol
IT was sink or swim for this disabled goldfish — until his owner made him a life jacket.
Tiny Fantail Einstein lost the ability to swim after developing swim bladder disease which caused him to turn upside down and sink to the bottom of his tank.
Worried owner Leighton Naylor made him a “floating frame” from recycled tubing which fits perfectly over the fish’s two-inch long body.
After a few adjustments the four year-old pet — named after his ability to learn tricks — is now back in the swim.

I read that as Fish Wife Jacket and thought it was a thread about you and Earl!

We have a couple of fish older than my daughter and she's nearly 17.

Jaws my plec, I rehomed him when an old lady was getting rid of her tank, he was 7+ then and we have had him 5 years! Still going strong, but bloody huge!!

My fairground gold fish lived for 5 years... The 'proper' goldfish my ex bought and then palmed off on my mum when he was bored with goldfish lived 10 years ish... So long as the water is good quality and filtered then they are very hardy.
