...I would suppose so but i'm much more interested in music than watching people doing tricks with dogs...But each to their own

Decent drama or factual documentary mostly. I enjoy history and natural history best of all in the documentary genre.
I have no time or tolerance for soaps, reality TV of the "fly-on-the-wall" variety or anything dumbed down and fleshed out by constant reiteration of something they've said about 4 times already - documentaries are sadly often guilty of this these days.
For something lighter, I enjoy my annual fix of Strictly Come Dancing but I don't watch anything else of that nature.
I also enjoy good comedy but there's little around at present that really amuses me. In the past I was a big fan of things like Father Ted, Blackadder and The League of Gentlemen though. I enjoy Have I Got News For You as well.
...I loved League Of Gentleman and Have I Got News For You!....Recently got into Dancing On Ice!...There was nothing much else on but i'm glad that i got into that!

I don't believe for one minute that shows like.....Have I got news for you....are not rehearsed and scripted.
I'm led to believe from someone who attended the show that it is "prepared" rather than strictly rehearsed.

So they still know what is coming?

Alice Fredenham did 'BGT' recently and the judges thought she was fantastic.... and she was!
Then she appeared on 'The Voice' on Saturday..... and none of the judges even turned around!!!! ...... the difference a song makes huh?

.....Has to be more current or to put and individual slant on it to be able to sell records

Has anyone noticed how The Voice features old acts from years gone past and they never get through!...Says a lot about how modern technology was used to enhance voices back then and now it seems to getting back to raw talent and a decent voice to succeed in today's market

I loved that version of imagine by John Lennon by Cleo...A great rendition and the words of that song are very important and one verse in particular.
