Plane crases into sea in Bali

An Indonesian airliner has crashed into the sea off the coast of the holiday island of Bali today, it has emerged.

First reports said the Lion Air jet overshot the runway as it was coming into land and went into the water.

Emergency services rushed to the scene and are currently working to rescue those on board.

The early reports are saying that everyone on board has survived.

I had heart failure reading it, my sis in law is either there or flying there this week Shocked

It was a local type flight though and everyone is safe pheww

I actually love flying but always get a twinge of apprehension on take off or landing just until its safe.

I flew a lot as a kid and never had a problem with it, it was after not flying for 30 years that I got freaked. Sad

I think probably as you grow up you appreciate the dangers of your own mortality more and things we never saw scary suddenly become way more dangerous...I can't do fairgrounds now without physically trembling but I was fine as a kid.

I've always loved flying!
When I was a kid I used to wish the plane would crash so I could be the sole survivor on a deserted island, like in the Blue Lagoon. Minus the incest!!
Car crashes, now they're scary!! You don't end up sucking coconuts on the beach after one of those... Shocked

I think it will be on catch up I think it was discovery channel, he did manage but not without struggles and it LOOKED just gorgeous ( as did he lol )
