Terrible thing to happen.

There has also been a crash in the New Forest, an ambulance left the road and hit a tree killing the driver and an elderly passenger, probably the patient.

Odd that someparts of our motorways are worse than others. The M6 junction 17 is a bad one too.

It's a very heavily traffic motorway...lots of HGV's. It's never quiet. And to be honest, people drive like nutters.

That's what it comes down to mostly, people driving like nutcases. All it takes is for one person to get something wrong, need to brake, mistakes how far away an car coming is and bam.

I hate motorways, I really do.

No idea but I do know that on the M4 if you want to go onto the M5 north bound if you aren't careful you'll end up going over the bloody bridge to Wales. The signs on there for which lane you need to be in to get onto the M5 are crap.

Better for me whistle

I am of the opinion every new driver ought to have to have lessons on motorway driving, not just dual carriageway, I think in a lot of cases it's fear that makes people dangerous on motorways.

Anyone driven the M/A8 into Glasgow... I just love when it turns to 5 lanes!

Safer to drive than bus or train... Just don't stop or the car may be on bricks before you drive off again whistle

I jest I prefer train for shopping days out, better to get a wine at lunchtime thumbsup
