Tonight was pork chop in a creme fresh sauce made from the chop juice and the juices from the roasted peppers and vine tomatoes plus we had new potatoes.
Now new potatoes aint what they used to be.
They used to only be available in season but are now available all year round.
They used to be a very tasty treat covered in knobs of butter but they taste bland ... tasteless boring.
Is it me or is the spuds?

I have bought Jersey Royals and even they don't match up to the price you pay for them! Dunno

I have bought Jersey Royals and even they don't match up to the price you pay for them!

Probably Jersey Royals grown in Vietnam or Wonga Wonga.

Me and the missus had a Chinese takeaway a few nights back and sat on the sea front watching an amazing sun set ... there are still some sticky sauce remains on the gear stick!
