For the most part i don't see having dreams as being a curse....Perhaps it's your brain just clearing out the clutter or rebooting

The Scottish Parliament Building is one. The original Queensberry House in the Canongate in Edinburgh was formerly the family home of the Duke of Queensberry and was, until the 1990s, a hospital for the elderly. I worked there for a few months. It now forms part of the Scottish Parliament building.

The duke's son, the mentally ill James Douglas, the Earl of Drumlanrig was at Queensberry House under the care of servants when his father sat in the former Scottish Parliament and was a signatory when the parliament signed the Union with England in 1707. On the day of the Union, whilst the household was out watching the procession in the Canongate, they left a black servant boy tending the fire in the oven, dressed in his red livery. James escaped from his room and went to the kitchen to look for food. Later when the servants arrived back they found that James had skewered the kitchen boy on a spit, roasted him alive in the kitchen fireplace and had eaten some of the dead child. The oven is now in the Scottish Parliament's Allowances Office.

I have no idea if the building is truly haunted but it is huge and rambling, with all sorts of split levels and endless staircases and corridors and it does have a very unnerving atmosphere at night and when working on night duty, none of us would go anywhere in the building unaccompanied.

One of my colleagues reported that years before she had heard one of the residents who was known to have dementia talking away to what appeared to be a child and complimented him on how nice his smart red coat was. This had been some time before she had heard the story of the kitchen boy's fate and she had subsequently learned the detail about his red livery from someone else who had told her more about it.

My partner used to be on it all the time!....I have nothing against the weed tbf!

....And when i was a kid i used to raid my mums sherry bottle on the quiet ...So i would suppose that my body was already used to the odd drop of alcohol!

Jeez ....I have tried most drugs in my time and the first drug that i ever took was a microdot in a club...never again as i was seeing aliens etc and got very paranoid!

I've smoked heroin in the past....made me sick!....I just feel lucky that i survived the heady days of my youth tbf ...These days i'm just happy with me vodka mixed with coke!
