Pensioner banned from swearing.

I dont see how anyone can stop him swearing tbh....it's unacceptable (imo) to swear AT people, though I'm sure most of us do it from time to time) Embarassed

....but just swearing in conversation is an accepted part of society now isn't it?

The group last night swore pretty much continually, and while you expect that from rock stars, they seem too clean cut for it not to sound wrong... Then we passed the jam house and a group of girls swearing at the top of their lungs, cheap and nasty... Now my eldest is gaming and his language would make a sailor blush thumbsup

he's been told off and I am so over 'swearing' its not funny Mad

People follow the pack, especially kids, some of the verses in todays songs are not only filled with swear words they are completely disrespecting of women....especially the black rapping lyrics....I use the word 'lyrics' loosely.

There are many great and talented black musicians out there but now all they do is a bit of rhyming with swear words chucked in to a looped computer beat.
There are many white musicians out there but now all they do ... is it an age thing do you think?

Well our generation, even our kids generation didn't have the F word rammed down their throats in song lyrics, for a start the music wouldn't have been played. The internet has made it all possible....and a lot of bloody gangsters who are in their 40's and 50's are an influence of youngsters it seems. Snoop Dog looks about 60.

Plus film and TV dont have many restrictions, so it's not suprising people swear...it's normal.

This OAP must have been very aggresive with his swearing, I still dont see how anyone can enforce the rule that he must not swear within anyone elses earshot though. Rolling Eyes
