Proms.

There are shops around here that sell nothing but prom dresses...they are absolutely beautiful too.

We bought our grandson a 3 piece grey suit with black edging round the collar and pockets...he looks dead grown up.
Its not for a few weeks yet so he can wait for the shirt, tie and shoes.
I would love to see a photo Ali but it's best not to post one....I dont mind showing me on a forum but I would never show my grandson.

When my grandson left primary they had a great prom. Each lad had a date and bought her a corsage. The school hired those stretch limos to take them to where the dance was....it's lovely to see them all go off, all the little girls had sequined prom dresses.

They left school that week, I dont think anyone ever saw their "dates" after that.

What was your dress like Gabby, do you still have it? Some of the ones I have seen are so beautiful I think if I had one I would have kept it and handed it down.

It was a strapless deep pink maxi dress... layered from the hips to the floor.......... it was the dogs bollox and the envy of many, lol.............. no, not got it now..... I gave it away a few years later to a girl that couldn't afford a decent dress for her 'do'....... she cried when she put it on! lol

Do you have a pic of the dress or a similer dress?? I'd have loved a Leavers Ball!! We had fuck all when we left. Getting our shirts covered in biro was about as exciting as it got for us.
