They aint entitled to hate that family!!!!

Why do you feel there should be hatred for the family? Even if you didn't like Margaret Thatcher, what harm did her husband do? Mark Thatcher seems like a bit of a twit but Carol seems OK.

I don't hate her family or anything like that.
I don't care about the family is a bit different and I'm sure they don't care about mine which is fine.
Her son Mark was a terrorist is a terrorist ... a fascist terrorist.
Not used to people having sympathy for terrorists on these forums.
I have no sympathy for the terrorist bastard at all and fully understand why security will be so expensive.

Sorry, I should rephrase that. I didn't mean that I thought YOU hated them but wondered why you think that anyone who hated her might also hate her family. They're nothing to do with her role as a former PM.

I understand what you're saying about not caring about them - or indeed any other family in the same bereaved situation at present - and indeed there's no reason why anyone should in any active way, unless they know the family.

I'm more troubled by those people who seem to be actively hostile toward the whole situation at present. I find it very difficult to understand such levels of vitriol and inappropriate behaviour toward someone who has now died and is oblivious to these sentiments. The only people who are likely to be affected by these scenes and responses are her family and close friends and none of them really deserve that as far as I can see.

Her son didn't give a shit about the people of the country he tried to overthrow and loot.
Any bloodshed death disfigurment caused by his fascist terrorist activities would have been expected and do you think he would have cared about the sons daughters mums dads etc etc?
Course he wouldn't.
His aim was overthrow of a government to grab the countries resources and fuck the people.
Well fuck him too.
I have no sympathy for such a greedy selfish bastard.

One of the best things that i can remember about my childhood was when my mother took me on the milk snatcher demo...I remember having my picture taken by the press 'Margaret Thatcher Milk Snatcher' banner...LOL

....TBF...I didn't like the smell of the milk bottle on my hand as a kid..but then i was getting free milk at home and i grew up in a middle class family but they are strong Labour based...to look out for others that are worse off!

Both of my brothers are professional based in employment but are still staunch Labour!

She's still his mother and he's as entitled to a degree of compassion as anyone is who is mourning the loss of a loved one.

Two wrongs don't really make a right. No matter what unsavoury or unethical things he may have done, he has still just lost his mother and even if people can't bring themselves to actually sympathy for him, his sister and his children, maybe it's better not to stick the boot in just at the present time - for humanity's sake, if for no other reason.

If her funeral turns into a shambolic riot due to the stupidity of a minority of misguided idiots as I am concerned that it might, I fear for the way Britain will be perceived in the eyes of the watching world.

I really hope my concerns are unfounded.
I don't care about them at all.
I fully understand why many feel such hatred anger and bitterness toward her and her and care not a jot about her family.
Some wounds will never heal.
There are people who's lives were destroyed by her and her family.
All this talk of Thatcherism was in reality Rothschildisms.
The Rothschilds were not elected but it was them who guided her re sell offs privatisa\tions etc etc which robbed the many to furnish the few.
It's not a rumour or conspiracy theory ... the Rothschilds were openly leading her government.
Massive unpayable credit began deregulation of the money men began.
I doubt she understood half of it and why people were screaming about the manufacturing crisis that she was creating and the coming financial crisis she was creating and the housing crisis she was creating simply because ... none of it originated with her.
Some people deserve to rot in hell according to some ... I wouldn't go that far but many supposedly nice people go through life with felings like that toward others so not giving a fuck about a politician and her terrorist son isn't really a big deal Dimps.

Entitled?
Her son should be in jail ... the people of Equatorial Guinea are surely entitled to that?
If his mother hadn't been MT the people would have got what they were entitled to which was seeing a terrorist who attacked their country locked up.
Sorry Dimps ... no time for certain types on this planet being entitled.

He was trying to take over the country to institute a new aparthied...a family trait since his mother was extremely racist and homophobic as well as that evil silly-billy...Now Carol Thatcher was far more Liberal and was always there for her mother...Perhaps that is why she always preferred Mark Dunno

If you asked any one of those little scrotes to name a few Thatcher policies they believed had effected their lives, they would not be able to answer... few will even be aware of the name of the current PM FFS.

Dennis Thatcher was a Millionaire Business man that inherited his fathers Chemical firm, which produced Nerve Gas and specialised in "Agent Orange"
Mark was basically a Gun Running Terrorist,
Carol seems to have been the only decent one of the Family.

I did not like the woman or her son and I can fully understand why they are both disliked by so many but I really do not like the prospect of her funeral turning into another renta-a-mob spectacle which will make the whole country look bad.

There will always be some fools who would turn up for any event in the offchance that they will be able to incite or join in with other like-minded idiots causing trouble, damage and possible harm to others.

Well I'm pretty sure many won't be doffing their caps in respect or reverence including many politicians.
The rent a mob analogy is very skewed.
There will always be people that will be hated and reviled in life and in death and long afterward.
I hope there is some disruption to show the world we aren't all humbled and or humiliated by the powerful.

Nobody is required to attend who would rather not and it would probably be better all round if they didn't.

People who hated her are entitled to their understandable viewpoint and there is no need for them to show any reverence toward her. For the occasion of her funeral though, there is no justification for anyone who does not care to pay their respects to her to do so, or even to be present. They should just stay away.

I fail to see how an elderly dead lady, lying in her coffin can be considered to be powerful or capable of humbling or humiliating anyone else. If there is any disruption at her funeral, then responsibility for any subsequent humiliation will be laid entirely at the feet of those causing it.

I think they know that and want the world to take note.
A warning to others of her ilk maybe.
In the past our respected leaders had peoples dead bodies dragged through the streets disembowled dug up and on and on the abuse went.
Not sure why you don't understand it's always been this way and inventing the suit and tie and the motr car hasn't changed human nature.
She isn't just a dead old lady she's a dead politician who caused many people much strife and protected her terrorist son from justice.
Many people will be willing to make a political point at her funereal.
I don't get what you don't understand.
She is not just some dead old lady ... far from it.

When Saddam Hussein died many people celebrated hit his picture with shoes pissed on Saddam artifacts etc etc.
The majority of Iraqis prospered under his reign ... same with Gaddafi.
Were those people painted as being something shameful to their nation?
