I do ours online because we are quite a way from the nearest supermarket and the delivery charge is less than the cab fare..I order mostly the same items and it's freaking me out that the prices are going up and up pale

It's not just groceries, I buy a cheap plain white shower curtain from asda as a liner for the swede ish type next shower curtain we have, it needs replaced often but at a £1 who worried, it was always fresh then... It's now £1.79... In under a year that's a hell of a mark up, and if that's repeated across the store...

You can't win! No

I have been doing some price checking and ASDA are by far the cheapest in my area and they are delivering to this area now..Time to leave Tesco IMO!

It looks man made and very anemic.
They have lumps of pig with what I call a comb over job where the fat is from another pig but it's been trimmed to fit this piece and plonked on top!
Now I couldn't buy that. That's seriously industrial production to me.
The beef in there is pale when it should be dark.
It's bland looking where there should be marbling to give it flavour.
Best supermarket meat especially beef is from Morrisons in this part of the world.
Your right about prices going up!

Yeah...Morrisons are really good but most of their stores are up North unfortnately!

My partner is always going on about this marbling giving meat flavour, it just looks tough and fatty to me.

Then you have no idea my dear how to cook beef!
The only way meat can be tough is down to the cook.
You can't buy tough meat.

I agree, I don't have much idea how to cook very much at all. It isn't one of my favourite things to do in the day, that's why my partner does it Very Happy

The leaves of Dandilions and stinging Nettles are just like Spinache when cooked and have more vitamins and minerals than bought veg and cost nothing.
A lot of us have them growing in the back yard.
Or go into the Forests or woods. Plenty of free stuff growing there.
Even Mushrooms.
As for a bit of meat there is always something lying at the side of the roads that has been tenderised by a truck or car.
Squashed Hedgehog with Dandylion soup is one of my favourites.

I tend to stick to Morrisons for my main shop. We have several supermarkets in my town, an Iceland, Lidl, Waitrose and Morrisons but I can't get everything I want from Iceland or Lidl, so just pick up odd bits from these and Waitrose is just too damn expensive.

I don't think there is much difference between any of them, I would be willing to bet it all comes from the same suppliers no matter what supermarket you use.
